Over the past year, I have worked alongside an impressive organisation that is heavily involved in expanding the presence and profile of camp education in China.
The IDEAS Foundation conducts an extraordinarily successful summer camp, together with UWC, for young people aged 14 to 18 years in July called U-Motion. The camp attracts young people from all over the world. I was fortunate to have witnessed the camp in operation in 2015 while delivering another training program in the same venue – it is indeed a wonderful program.
The U Motion International Camp aims to create a global platform to integrate international resources, gather young leaders with a strong sense of social responsibility and creativity to engage in open dialogues and discussions on social issues, and share experiences of social services.
Enrolments are open now for their 2016 U-Motion camp, running from 17 to 30 July. Click here to download the PDF brochure.
Note: exclusive scholarships and some discounts are available to Australian students, but hurry, limits apply.
If you or someone you know can think of a young person who would benefit from this camp experience in China, please share a link to this post, or download the camp brochure now.
