Step-by-Step Instructions

This energetic team game creates instant energy through a unique challenge that combines coordination and strategy. Mighty Wind transforms simple materials into an exciting contest where groups use fans to direct balls toward goals. Perfect for energising any gathering, this fun team-based game requires minimal setup but delivers maximum engagement. The no-touch rules encourage creative thinking while the competitive element keeps everyone involved. Suitable for all ages and group sizes, it combines physical movement with playful tactics.

Mighty Wind – Energetic Team Game
  1. Divide your group into two (or more) teams.
  2. Within a large, open space, designate a goal area for each team.
  3. Supply each person with a fan of some type, eg paper plate, cardboard, folder, fly swatter.
  4. For each team, place one (or more) table tennis balls at opposite ends of the space from their goal.
  5. When ready, each team uses the wind of their fans to blow their table tennis ball(s) to their designated goal.
  6. Nothing (person or fan) is permitted to touch a table tennis ball at any time.
  7. Players from an opposing team are permitted to alter the course of the other team’s ball(s) but never touch it or another person.
  8. Play two or more rounds of five minutes each.
  9. Acknowledge the team with the most number of goals.

    Played this today as energizer. Each player got a singe sheet of paper. I had a big bucket of ping pong balls at one end, then used different colored poly spots as goals … had to get the PP Balls on the spot. Had 4 teams of 8
    SO funny, we were all laughing
