The Power of Experiential Learning

By
Experiential Trainer, Author & Speaker

Ever wanted a glimpse into what is possible at school?

Read this article from Education Week newspaper.

The author, Jonathan Lash, provides a wonderful illustration of the powerful pedagogies of experiential learning and project-based methodologies, compared to the traditional ‘lecture-test-grade’ model which pervades our educational system.

The applied methodologies of experiential and project-based strategies help young people develop critical 4 x Cs skills (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity) while they are engaged in the core curriculum.

More importantly, this type of education better equips them for success once they leave school – a future, which the author notes, will feature careers which haven’t even been invented yet!
