Bumpity Bump Bump Bump combines quick reactions with memory recall in this interactive icebreaker game that keeps everyone alert and involved. This fun circle name game naturally builds energy while helping participants learn names through repetition. Perfect for breaking down barriers and creating an atmosphere of playful engagement.

Bumpity Bump Bump Bump – Fun Name Game
  1. Form a circle, with you standing in the centre.
  2. Point at a random person in the circle, saying one of four words – “LEFT,” “RIGHT,” “YOU” or “ME.”
  3. Each is an instruction for the person being pointed at to accurately name the person to their left or right, their own name or yours (person in the middle.)
  4. The name must be uttered quicker than you (the middle person) can say the words “BUMPITY BUMP BUMP BUMP.”
  5. If the correct name is called quickly enough, this person survives another round.
  6. If they are too slow, or make a mistake, they are invited to swap roles with the person in the middle.
  7. Play a couple of ‘test’ rounds to help your group practice.
  8. After a few minutes, introduce one or more new people into the middle of the circle.
